Save The Date: My Chopped Episode

The day has finally arrived! Yesterday I got this email from the production company with my actual air dates:

Greetings!
I hope you have been well since we last saw you on the set of Chopped!

We were delighted to have you compete on the show, and we hope that you were able to walk away with a positive experience. I’m sure you have been patiently awaiting your debut on the Food Network. (yea, like 18 months!!!)

Because you appear in a special “holiday” episode it will be airing on TWO dates:

SUNDAY November 25th, 2012 at 10pm
AND TUESDAY December 4th, 2012 at 10pm

Here is the official description of the episode for the listings:

“Chopping in a Winter Wonderland” – Premiering Sunday, November 25th at 10pm Holiday time is here, and the chefs open up the first basket to find spiral ham and beautiful Italian cookies. Family memories influence decisions in their first dishes, but Santa Claus melons come to town for the entrée round, and one of the competitors makes a big holiday mess in the kitchen. Then, in the dessert round, the two remaining chefs must turn eggnog and Hanukkah gelt into the perfect final gift for the judges.”

Please keep in mind that this date is subject to change at the network’s
discretion, so please check the website for the most current air date,
foodnetwork.com/chopped.As seasons continue, the success of out show is based solely on the talented chefs that we come into contact with, and I’d like to encourage you to refer any chefs that you feel have the skills to compete on
Chopped. You can direct them to apply on the Food Network casting site
www.choppedcasting.com. Please remind any chefs that you recommend
to list your name as their reference, in order for their casting application to
stand out.Thank you so much, we hope that your family and friends enjoy watching
you compete on Chopped!

Warm Regards….
So…save the date.
I’m asking people to go to the Chopped Facebook page after they view the episode and leave a comment. If you Tweet, do the same on Food Network’s Twitter page…something subtle like “give that Chef Rachel Willen her own show, she’s so cute!” Let Chopped know how much you loved me 🙂 !!!  It’s the only way to leave a comment about the show. Food Network’s site does not have this capability.
Thanks for all your support. I’ll  have a post on the blog just before the show to remind everyone…and one right after if you want to leave comments on the blog, as well. I look forward to hearing your feedback!!!
xoxo Rachel
